Samuel Bendall…what is there to say? Well, I refer to myself in the third person on my website, not in person. It just reads better online.
He also goes by Sam. No need to draw out the whole name. His mother doesn't even call him "Samuel", except when she's angry but that has never happened; Sam is very well behaved.
Sam has been passionate about photography since he was 8 years old when he got his hands on his mom’s expensive Rebel EOS 2000 SLR (that’s a film camera). Since then he has devoted himself to learning as much as he can about photography. He is also passionate at helping others understand photography. He studied some photography in college but most of his knowledge comes from that “passion” mentioned earlier. It is amazing what one can learn from reading and experimentation when one has over a decade dedicated to a subject.
Sam is a think outside the box photographer. He does not conform or specialize in a specific genre of photography, he shoots many genres because he is creative; he probably has a bit of attention deficit disorder. He loves Long Exposure / Urban Exploration / Painting with light photography, portrait, documentary, and travel photography.
If you ask Sam, “What do you do for a living?” He will tell you he works for the best public relations firm in LA and loves it. If you ask him, “how do define yourself?” He will tell you he is a photographer. For Sam, photography is outlet and an art. He just happens to be so good, and so lucky, that he makes money doing it. He is modest about this, and thankful too.
Sam lives in Los Angeles and San Diego with his beautiful fiancee and old dog. He is ALWAYS working on something for himself or for a client.
